Whether it’s a new project, event or upgrade, grants are available across several categories, with support on hand to help you apply.

MARCH MEETING RUNDOWN
At its March meeting, Council called for improved regional train services andwater infrastructure funding. Councillors also approved business assistance funding, endorsed a submission to a January fires inquiry, and reaffirmed opposition to the Mumblin Wind Farm due to aviation safety concerns.

COMMENT ON WASTEWATER PROPOSAL
Residents can comment now on a new plan to guide the use of septic and wastewater systems across the Shire. The Onsite Wastewater Management Plan outlines how Council will safely manage wastewater systems in areas without sewerage connection. Closes 13 April.

Looking to a career in construction? Corangamite youths aged 14 to 25 can book into an upcoming White Card training session and gain essential workplace safety knowledge. The course is delivered locally and is suitable for people new to the industry or needing certification.

IDAHOBIT CELEBRATION AT NOORAT
Council will join with Terang and Mortlake Health Service to present an IDAHOBIT Day event on Sunday 17 May, celebrating diversity and standing against discrimination. Community members can join in activities at Noorat that promote inclusion, respect and belonging for people of all sexualities and genders.
