Idahobit Day 2026
Sunday, 17 May 2026 | 12:00 PM
IDAHOBIT Day will be celebrated at Noorat Primary School on Sunday 17 May from 12 pm, featuring food vans, drag bingo, guest speakers, Stiletto throwing, entertainment, rainbow ally wall and photo booths.

Breakfast with the Mayor
Mayor Cr Kate Makin has visited schools across the shire for breakfast or lunch this year to engage with young people and seek their input. Schools involved have included Timboon P-12 College, Mercy Regional College, Camperdown College, Terang College, Derrinallum P-12 and Cobden Technical School.
Winter Ball
A special event for Year 12 students from across the shire on 9 August to celebrate the final year of secondary school.
Corangamite Youth Leadership Summit
The Corangamite Youth Leadership Summit, held in 2024 and 2025, gave young people aged 12–18 the chance to connect with peers, explore student‑led initiatives, build leadership skills and gain confidence to drive positive change.
Corangamite Create and Sustain Youth Fest
A free school holiday event at Camperdown’s Theatre Royal featuring youth music and dance performances, an art exhibition and hands‑on sustainability activities.
Youth Sports Day
A free school‑holiday program featuring yoga and Pilates, tennis coaching, basketball sessions and a barbecue at the Camperdown Community Stadium.
Training
Including pool lifeguard training, and first aid/CPR training.
Youth Performances
Council has offered paid performance opportunities for young local musicians at events including Light Up Camperdown and TRACKS Timboon.
