CLOSURE OF OFFICES
The Camperdown Civic Centre will be closed on Friday 19 December from 12.30 pm and then from Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 12 pm for the Christmas New Year period, re-opening on Monday 5 January 2026 at 8.30 am.

RUBBISH, RECYCLING AND GREEN ORGANICS COLLECTION
Timboon, Simpson & Port Campbell
Collection will be Monday 22 December and Monday 29 December 2025 as normal.
Lismore, Derrinallum & Skipton
Collection will be Tuesday 23 and Tuesday 30 December 2025 as normal.
Camperdown - south Princes Highway & Gnotuk
Collection will be on Wednesday 24 and Wednesday 31 December 2025 as normal.
Camperdown - north Princes Highway & Cobden
Collection will be on Friday 26 December 2025 and Friday 2 January 2026.
Terang, Noorat and Glenormiston
Collection will be on Saturday 27 December 2025 and Saturday 3 January 2026
Weekly green organics collections
Please note that the weekly green organics collections finish on Saturday 3 January 2026.
Bin collection
For any missed waste, recycling or FOGO bins or bin collection issues please contact Wheelie Waste on 5561 2286. Note: the Wheelie Waste office will be closed for the public holidays.
SWIMMING POOLS
The Camperdown, Cobden, Lismore, Skipton, Terang, and Timboon pools will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December 2025.
SPORTING CENTRES
The Timboon Sporting Complex will be closed from Friday 19 December 2025. 24/7 gym access will continue for gym members. The Camperdown Community Stadium will close from Friday 19 December 2025. For further details on school holiday activities, classes and programming in January 2026 please visit each Stadium’s Facebook page.
LIBRARIES
All the libraries in the Shire will close from Wednesday 24 December 2025 at 12 pm, with normal hours resuming on Monday 5 January 2026.
VISITOR INFORMATION SERVICES
The Port Campbell Visitor Information Centre will be closed on Thursday 25 December 2025.
MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH SERVICES
All Maternal and Child Health Centres will close from 5 pm Tuesday 23 December 2025 and will reopen from Monday 5 January 2026 from 8.30 am.
Please call the 24/7 Maternal and Child Health Line on 13 22 29 for advice and support. If your baby is unwell, please contact your closest medical service. The 24/7 Parentline Victoria is also available on 13 22 89.
CHILD CARE
All Child Care Services across the Shire will close on their normal operational days starting Thursday 18 December 2025 to Monday 22 December 2025 and will recommence from Thursday 29 January 2026 depending on the service venue start date.
McNicol Child Care will close from Monday 22 December 2025 and will re-open on Tuesday 6 January 2026.
KINDERGARTENS
All Kindergarten services will finish for the Christmas/New Year holiday period from Friday 19 December 2025 and recommence from Tuesday 27 January 2026.
LOCAL LAWS
Local Laws/ranger services will be available over the Christmas/New Year period for emergencies only, including livestock on Council roads, dog attacks, and wandering dogs.
For urgent requests over the Christmas and New Year period, please call 5593 7100 and follow the prompts.
For all other non-urgent requests, please contact us after 8.30 am on Monday 5 January 2026.
