Mt Leura Come and Explore 2025

The Mt Leura and Mt Sugarloaf Management Committee would like to welcome people of all ages to an annual Come and Explore day at the reserves.

The day will be filled with free activities to entertain the whole family, with the aim to appreciate the everything Mt Leura and Mt Sugarloaf have to offer.

Meet at the Volcanic Education Centre, in the Indigenous Flora Garden on Mt Leura Rd in Camperdown.

Activities for the day:

  • 2025 surplus indigenous plant sale (1 – 1.30pm)
  • Cultural discovery walk with Brett Clarke (1.30 – 3pm)
  • iNaturalist scavenger hunt, please bring a smartphone/ tablet to participate (3 – 3.30pm)
  • Nature crafts (3.30 – 4.15pm)
  • Petyan Yarns installation by textile artist Nicky Shonkala
  • Afternoon tea
