National Recycling Week Pop Up Event @ Cobden Library

This National Recycling Week we are coming to you!

Our friendly Waste and Sustainability Officer, Jess, wants to help you understand how you can maximise your recycling, FOGO and reduce your general waste! Come along to ask any questions you have, learn more and get a chance to hear about the new glass service.

We'll be hosting a series of pop-up events in each town. You are invited to come along, ask questions and maybe learn a new thing or two about waste and recycling!

With the introduction of new advice for our waste, recycling, FOGO and glass bins, its easy to get confused. Come ask our Waste Officer all your rubbish questions - yes, even the hairy ones! Find out why glass is getting its own bin, what types of plastics are recyclable, why you should never put batteries in any bin. Ever. And why you visit a Transfer Station.
