Festival of Small Halls 2026 Autumn Tour: Cobden
Next date: Thursday, 05 March 2026 | 06:30 PM
Festival of Small Halls rolls into Cobden on Thursday, 5 March 2026 with Irish Mythen (CAN/IRE) and Kaurna Cronin (AUS).
Irish Mythen – Irish Mythen’s latest release, Little Bones, gained them recognition around the globe, including a 2020 JUNO nomination for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year. Irish’s live performances are a thing of raw power, emotion and a connection with her audience that just has to be seen to be believed.
Kaurna Cronin – A previous recipient of Folk Alliance Australia’s Artist of the Year and a two-time Australian Folk Music Awards nominee, Kaurna is an Australian folk-rock wanderer whose songs hold a mirror to the human condition. Raised in a beat-up van by a clown and a textile artist, he learned early that the world is messy, magical and full of stories worth singing.

Local knowledge from your hosts: Heytesbury House is a B & B – grand old lady is full of surprises! As you walk through the hedged entrance, you enter into a gardeners delight. This is a beautiful old-fashioned, English type landscape designed to draw your attention to the magnificent wonder that awaits you. Whether you’re here for a function, a night of romance, or a quiet escape, you’re sure to find yourself immersed in a sense of peace and tranquility. Come on in through the front door between the two peacock ordained stained glass windows to find you have stepped not only across an old hardwood doorstep, but through time itself, back to the early 1900s when Heytesbury House was the proud Doctor’s Residence and later a local Hospital.
The golf club has a great menu and there is a giant Western Star butter you can get a photo with!
