Poorpa Yanyeen Meerreeng Trail – Official Launch

Join us to celebrate the official launch of the Poorpa Yanyeen Meerreeng trail – a new 19.3km walking and cycling trail connecting Timboon to Port Campbell.

This scenic off-road route winds through native forest, farmland, wetlands and coastal landscapes, offering a unique way to experience the Great Ocean Road hinterland.

Developed by Corangamite Shire Council in partnership with Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation, the trail features:

  • Elevated bridges and cattle underpasses
  • A cantilevered boardwalk with ocean views
  • Rest stops
  • Interpretive signage and accessible design

 

Whether you're a local resident, visitor, cyclist or nature lover, this new trail invites you to travel through Country and enjoy the region’s natural beauty.

All are welcome at the launch. No registration required.
