The Djargurd Wurrung: Footprints & Remembrance

Next date: Tuesday, 24 March 2026 | 07:00 PM to 08:30 PM

A promotional graphic for an event titled ‘The Djargurd Wurrung: Footprints & Remembrance’ placed over a sketch showing several human figures. A beige text panel lists event details, venue, date, QR code and sponsor logos.

Friends of Mount Leura host a presentation from long-term Camperdown resident, Bob Lambell.

This FoML activity is a NOT to be missed opportunity if you have an interest in our First Nations people and their local history.

Bob describes himself as an ‘active learner’ on this topic. He is someone who ‘gleans and grasps information’ and cares about First Nations people. Very importantly, Bob is also someone who shares his wealth of knowledge. Lucky us!

The amazing artwork used in the poster was provided by Camperdown Historical Society. It is part of a sketch by William Adeney c1884 of a corroboree at ‘Renny Hill’, Camperdown.

Please note, there is a limit of 30 participants at the VEC – RSVP is ESSENTIAL. Live streaming is also available.
