Light Up Camperdown 2024

Light Up Camperdown is a dazzling festival that will fill central Camperdown with lights, projections, lanterns and interactive activities.

The historic Camperdown Clocktower and the Courthouse building will be illuminated so both their beauty can shine bright, in this vibrant festival that aims to invigorate the town centre.

This free community event includes:

• A Welcome to Country
• Food and market stalls
• Artist projections by Artist in Residence Clare Younis
• Christmas movie The Santa Clause 2 will screen for FREE at the Camperdown Theatre Royal from 6 pm
• Roving entertainers will entertain throughout the night.
• Late night shopping
• A lantern parade
• Lighting up of the Clocktower and Courthouse.

Head to The Avenue, Camperdown, on Friday 6 December 4 to 9 pm for the second annual Light Up Camperdown!

The Sunday before the event we will have a lantern-making workshop so people can help create an avenue of light during the lantern parade. Learn more here.
