We are delighted to announce our speaker: Georgina Conheady, of Noorat Millinery
Georgina has always had a fascination with hats.
She established herself as one of Melbourne’s premier milliners, working for many years under Austrian born hatmaker Waltraud Reiner.
Georgina became a renowned authority and teacher in the art of French flower making, with a library of vintage hat blocks and flower tools collected from all corners of the world.
She crafts the finest hats and French silk flowers.
Georgina is still inspired by the colours and textures of nature from her childhood in Western Victoria.
About 8 years ago she returned to her home town of Noorat, and now operates her millinery and work from there.
