Idahobit Day 2026

Join the community at Noorat Primary School on Sunday 17 May from 12 pm onwards to celebrate IDAHOBIT Day.

This Free event for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies features Drag Bingo, guest speakers, Stiletto throwing, entertainment, rainbow ally wall, photo booths and Food vans.

All ages. Alcohol & Smoke free event

Presented by Terang & Mortlake Health Service and Corangamite Shire, the afternoon focuses on fun, inclusivity and acceptance.

Everyone is welcome.

"To find acceptance and love, is one of life's most treasured and necessary experiences. To connect with another human being, to feel seen and share our lives is a truly beautiful thing!
No one, has a right to judge on who you love, care for, are attracted to or identify as...and it honestly baffles me that unfortunately, some don't agree.
So, conversations still need to be had, and through amazing inclusive events such as today, hopefully we can shine together and embrace a more accepting way of life. No matter our differences. Because everyone has the right to be who they are. 
These rainbow wings, I hope will bring some fun and light, for folks to enjoy, pose with along with their friends, take pictures and share with all in their lives and beyond!!"
