Help celebrate International Day of People with a Disability on Sunday 14 December from 10 am with a day at the beach!

The day will feature a range of inclusive activities such surfing with the Disabled Surfers Association, guided beach walks on the beach front with a Beach Walker and Mobi Chair, a sensory tent and an all-day barbecue.

A guest speaker session will run from 2 to 4 pm. There is no cost to attend, and afternoon tea will be provided. GORCAPA will present an introduction with the engagement team. Georgie Selman from Port Farm will discuss how accessible design might not look like you think it does. ADHD coach Tania Rowan will explain neurodiversity and how awareness and support build inclusive communities.

Parking

Participants are encouraged to be dropped off at the surf club, with parking available at the Morris Street car park (500m up the road). There will be a dedicated drop off area for participants in front of the club.
