YOUTH FEST SHOWCASE FOR SHIRE The Create and Sustain Youth Fest is coming on Sunday 21 September, and we’re looking for young people aged 12 to 25 to get involved.Applications are open now for performers to take the stage on the day.They can also register to host a market stall, join a clothing swap, or display their artworks.

40% RATES REDUCTION FOR FARMS Drought-hit farmers across Corangamite Shire will receive a 40% automatic reduction on their 2025-2026 rates and municipal charge.Council is automatically passing on the reduction directly to farm property owners, meaning there’s no need to apply.

We’re working on a detailed flood study on the catchment, from Purrumbete down to Peterborough,and we’re seeking input from locals who have witnessed past floods.

PORT CAMPBELL REVITALISATION OPENING The Port Campbell Town Centre Revitalisation Project officially opened in August with a ceremony to mark the completion of the project.The project has upgraded ageing infrastructure, with expanded outdoor dining areas, new street plantings and furniture, lighting, traffic calming and integrated artwork.

MOBILE CINEMA AVAILABLE FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS Local community groups can apply to host movie screenings through Council’s mobile cinema. A movie screening is a great way to raise funds, entertain the kids, or just have a good night out.
