We invite nominations from people who can bring a broad range of skills and experiences to the committee.
There are six vacant positions:
As a member of the Mt Noorat Management Committee you may be required to undertake various duties including (but not limited to):
Implementation of the Mt Noorat Management Plan and Risk Management Plan, and participation in the development and implementation of other strategic plans developed via the Committee
Attend monthly Committee meetings as per the Committee delegation and other meetings as required, and participate in discussions and decision making in a courteous manner
Consideration to undertaking an officer bearer role, such as Chairperson or Secretary
Contribute to planning and participating in activities related to implementation of the Management Plan and other strategic plans, including monitoring and reporting against the Annual Action Plan
Assist in seeking and developing funding applications and sponsorship bids
Assist in coordinating, running and promoting Committee events, including community planting days, working bees, workshops and field days
Assist and participate in on-ground activities relating to maintenance and development of the reserves such as weed control, tree-planting and construction works
