Kim from Innerbloom will be leading a nature journaling exercise and Camperdown’s Angela Preiss will be conducting sound bowl meditation.

There is an enormous amount of research that demonstrates the benefits of exposure to the natural world, as well as the benefits of just slowing down and taking time out from our busy lives.

Nature journaling is taking a notebook and some simple art supplies out into nature and using words, pictures and numbers to describe what you notice, what you wonder about and what things remind you of. You don't have to be a perfect artist to be able to do this. It's just for you!

The sounds produced by sound bowls are thought to help focus the mind and deepen meditation. Singing bowls are also used in traditional healing practices, creating vibrations believed to restore balance and harmony within the body, mind, and spirit.
