Free movies return to Corangamite Shire these school holidays, with four family-friendly films at Camperdown’s Theatre Royal.
Corangamite Shire Council will screen Smurfs and Madagascar on Wednesday 1 July, followed by Oddball and Grand Prix of Europe on 8 July.
Acting Manager Economy and Prosperity Samantha Fox says young people and families can enjoy the full cinema experience, with popcorn and refreshments for sale. Entry to screenings is free.
“A trip to the movies is a classic school holiday activity, and we’re bringing that to Corangamite at no cost,” she said.
“We’re putting on a mix of well-known favourites and newer releases, giving families plenty to enjoy.
“Bring the kids along, pick a session and enjoy a fun day at the movies right here in Corangamite.”
