Council services will be closed Wednesday 2 July

Anyone with urgent business for Corangamite Shire is encouraged to contact Council by Tuesday 1 July or wait until Thursday 3.

Chief Executive Officer David Rae said: “The compulsory legislative training will ensure all Council staff are compliant with current legislation and policies.

“Having a single shut-down will minimise interruption to services and ensure we can serve you better.”

Council will not operate any programs on Wednesday 2 July for an all-staff compulsory training day.

This will include:

  • The Civic Centre
  • All kindergartens and childcare services
  • Maternal and Child Health services
  • Positive Ageing, Access and Inclusion programs
  • Corangamite Regional Landfill
  • Timboon and Skipton transfer stations
  • YAK program at Terang Stadium
  • Camperdown, Cobden, Derrinallum, Terang, Timboon libraries

Local Laws will be available on 5593 7100 for emergencies like stock out on local roads, dog attacks or wandering animals.

Family day care will operate, and Camperdown Stadium will open from 4 pm as usual

Services will resume as normal the following day.
