Enabling Grant
The Enabling Grants program provides ‘one off’ financial assistance to community groups operating in the Corangamite Shire to develop ‘shovel-ready’ projects which are properly planned and costed, and for which project funding can then be sought.
What types of things are funded through the Enabling Grants?
Funding may be used for business case preparation, scoping, community consultation, plans and drawings, costings, permits, approvals or engagement of professional grant-writing or other assistance. The annual funding pool will provide for a minimum of three funded projects per year.
Important Information:
- Funding is not available to individuals
- Funding of up to $5,000 is available to community groups in Corangamite Shire

How do I apply?
Applications for the 2026-2027 funding round open on Friday 27 May and close on Monday 4 May, 2026.
