About the position
Corangamite Shire Council is seeking a passionate Certificate III educator to join our Skipton Kindergarten team at the start of the 2026 kindergarten academic year. This position involves working every Tuesday and Thursday.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Providing high quality education and care programs for children.
- Working cooperatively with a team of Early Childhood Educators and allied professionals to provide a safe, caring, and educational environment for children attending the service.
- Supporting the Nominated Supervisor with the efficient and effective management of the service to ensure smooth daily operation.
About you
- Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent as required in accordance with Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012, or evidence of working towards the same.
- Experience in a childcare, kindergarten or pre-school setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning & Development Framework Victoria, Early Years Learning Framework for Australia.
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- Current Victorian Driver’s License, Working with Children Check and recent National Police Check.
