Salary: $87,304 – $95,306 per annum
About the position
Corangamite Shire Council is seeking an Infrastructure Projects Officer to take a lead role in the planning and delivery of Council’s infrastructure projects, overseeing contractors and assisting in the coordination of annual maintenance programs of Council infrastructure.
About you
- An appropriate project management qualification, and / or several years practical experience related to working with building assets.
- Experience in work programming and project management, with experience managing the delivery of diverse construction projects within a local government context highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, reporting, planning and the underlying principles of contract management, with an understanding of project management methodologies relevant to a local government context highly desirable.
- Proficient in the use of computer application, including the Microsoft Suite and database applications
- Sound knowledge of budgeting and financial procedures, along with experience in the preparation of quotes to inform Councils budget process.
- A demonstrated commitment to our values of integrity, teamwork, and respect.
- Current Victorian Driver’s License, recent national police check, working with children’s card and construction induction card (or ability to obtain).
