Information for Stallholders
Thanks for your interest in becoming a stallholder at Graze The Day! This new signature event aims to promote the local area, including its producers and makers. Continue reading to learn how you can become a stallholder.
Producer stallholder criteria
To be considered as a food or drink stallholder for this event, the following conditions must be met:
- Artisan producer, locally made in Corangamite or Great Ocean Road Region.
- Priority will be given to businesses that operate within Corangamite Shire:
- Food/drink vendors outside the local area may be considered based on a high-quality product offering.
- Vendors will be selected on an event need basis, and point of difference.
- Product sold must be the primary business function.
- Vendor must have a website and/ or strong online presence.
Food and Drink Licence and Registration
Stallholders must be registered under the Food Act 1984 – Homepage - FoodTrader
- Stallholders must submit a Statement of Trade for the event, at least 5 days prior to the event date to Corangamite Shire Council.
- Stallholders to visit www.health.vic.gov.au/foodsafety for more information about food safety requirements.
Liquor beverage sellers must hold a VCGLR Producers Licence, or Temporary Limited Licence that enables the sale of alcohol at events.
- Stallholders must provide copies of licence at prior to the event date to Corangamite Shire Council; and are responsible for ensuring all conditions of the licence are met.
Maker stallholder criteria
To be considered as a maker stallholder for this event, the following criteria will be considered:
- 60% hand crafted
- Primary business function
- Priority will be given to businesses that operate within Corangamite Shire;
- Vendor must have a website and/ or strong online presence
- High-end quality product created with superior craftsmanship
Public Liability Insurance
Stallholders must provide Corangamite Shire with a copy of their current Public Liability Insurance, with a minimum insured value of $20million. Any stallholder who has not provided this will not be able to operate at the event.
Site Fee
Successful stallholders will be required to pay a $100 site fee to participate. Details will be provided.

Additional information
Infrastructure requirements
Stallholders are to supply their own 3m x 3m marquees with sufficient weights (as per manufacturer recommendations) to secure the marquee. If peg staking is essential, please seek approval prior to the day.
Stallholders are to provide their own power leads, which must be tested and tagged prior to the day.
Note: there is no stock or supply of leads available on the day.
Self-supply of generators is encouraged, as there is a very limited power supply.
Event Bump-in/Out
Stallholder bump-in is from 8 to 10 am on the event day.
Stallholders can use the area as marked on the site map to unload and load items. All vehicles (other than food vans) must be removed from the event area by 10 am.
Stallholder bump-out commences immediately after the event.
Please note that vehicles must not be brought on site until advised by the event manager (for the safety of event patrons, this will not occur until the majority of patrons have vacated the area).
Toilets
Toilets are located in the event area (refer to site map).
Evacuation
In case of an evacuation, direction will be provided by staff overseeing the market area. The nominated evacuation muster point is Timboon Green at the junction of Bailey and Main Street’s (refer to site map).
Wet weather contingency
It is proposed that all stalls will remain in position as per the site map (rain or shine), unless deemed as unsafe, in which case stallholders will be directed to pack-up.
