With the Victorian state election on the not-too-distant horizon in November 2018, Corangamite Shire Council has come up with a list of priorities we would like to see supported by all sides of politics in the leadup to ballot day.

Top of the list is funding for arterial (VicRoads) roads across Corangamite Shire.

It is now estimated that more than $60 million is required just to bring the arterial road network in our Shire up to an acceptable and safe standard.

Lavers Hill-Cobden Road, Terang-Mortlake Road, and Lismore-Skipton Road need urgent attention.

Other priorities include projects outlined in the Shipwreck Coast Master Plan - Port Campbell Town Centre and Twelve Apostles Trail are the important ones.
