Ed Gym is an active and structured gymnastics based program for pre-school aged children which promotes a range of learning opportunities in a fun and safe environment.
Recreation Development Officer Lucy Vesey said the program provided an opportunity for children to be active, learn new skills and socialise with children the same age.
“Each sessions is designed to develop coordination, independence and creativity in a fun environment,” Ms Vesey said.
Fees per class are $5.50 for 1 child, $10.00 for 2 children, and $13.50 for 3 or more children from the same family.
“As part of Corangamite Shire’s Eat Well! Move Well! Be Well! program, we are offering free come and try days for new participants on Wednesday 9 August in Camperdown and Thursday 10 August in Terang,” Ms Vesey Said.
“I encourage parents to bring their active pre-schoolers along to give it a go.”
Classes are held at the Theatre Royal in Camperdown each Wednesday at 9.15 am and 10.30 am, and Terang Stadium each Thursday at 9.30 am.
