The Participate and Connect Community Expo is a two-day weekend event celebrating the great work community groups, not-for-profits and volunteer organisations do in Corangamite. Held in the Theatre Royal in Camperdown, we hope to connect groups from north and south of the Shire.
Saturday 29 May, promises to be a conference packed with information sessions and workshops aimed to build the foundation, abilities and capacity of your group and members.
The conference will feature guest speakers from Volunteer Victoria, South-West Sport, Non-profit Training and Sports Community, on a range of topics such as:
- Out-of-the box fundraising ideas
- Strategic planning / project management
- Grant writing
- Volunteer recruitment
Due to COVID restrictions and seating arrangements, spaces are limited and registration is required.
Sunday 30 May, we will throw open the doors of the Theatre Royal offering exhibition space for groups to set up and meet with the wider community.
This will be a great opportunity to show off what your group does, celebrate your successes and offer a ‘come & try’ experience to help drive memberships and engagement. The day will be a fun experience for residents with free performances, exhibitions, activities and live demonstrations.
Free exhibition spaces of various sizes can be booked now.
