Corangamite Creative Exhibition

The Corangamite Youth Creative Exhibition is a highlight of Youth Fest 2023. This exhibition will showcase young artists from Corangamite Shire, exploring “what makes you smile” and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.

The exhibition will run for all of September at the Camperdown Courthouse Gallery, with opening night scheduled for Friday 1 September, 6 - 7.30 pm.

We have 15 young local artists exhibiting their work, sharing their sources of inspiration and strength with us.

Join the Corangamite Youth Creative Exhibition, part of Youth Fest 2023, and showcase your talent and creativity to the community. This exhibition is all about exploring “what makes you smile” and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.

Express yourself through various mediums such as photography, drawing, sculpture, print making, illustration, painting, poetry and digital media. Let your imagination run wild and share your sources of inspiration and strength with us.

Submit your artwork to our Youth Team, along with a description of the meaning behind your piece. Your work will be displayed at the prestigious Camperdown Courthouse Gallery, where you'll have the opportunity to attend the opening night.

We welcome diverse interpretations and encourage all artists to submit their work. In particular, we encourage those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with disabilities, multicultural backgrounds, those from the LGBTIQ+ community, and anyone else who wants to share their creativity.

Selected artists will be notified and given the opportunity to print and display their work (anonymously if preferred).
