Corangamite Youth Art Exhibition 2019
Terms and Conditions
Those wanting to submit artwork are to make contact with either Helena or Jen on either 5593 7100 or 0439 156 601, or email email@example.com to register their participation.
Exhibiting artists must be between the ages of 12 and 25.
Entrants must reside within the Corangamite Shire.
Artwork must be ready to hang upon delivery. Please ensure appropriate hooks and wiring is fixed to the back of your artwork.
Please provide a short 100 word biography about yourself (where you’re from, which school you attend, your hobbies, your future aspirations etc.), and 50-100 words about the artwork you have submitted. These can be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
If displaying a sculpture or woodwork, please give Helena or Jen a call at the Corangamite Shire office on 5593 7100 to discuss the dimensions to ensure we have enough space to display your work.
As this is a community event, works deemed to be offensive by the organisers will not be hung.
DURING THE ART EXHIBITION:
Opening Night of the Exhibition will take place at the Courthouse Camperdown on Friday 5 April between 5pm and 8pm. This night is a Youth Week celebration showcasing the talented young artists in the Corangamite Shire. It is not a condition of entry into the exhibition to have all artists at the Opening Night Showcase, however it is most desirable. Family and friends are most welcome, and encouraged to attend with exhibiting artists.
Artworks will remain on display at the Courthouse Camperdown for the duration of Youth Week: 5 April 2019 to 14 April 2019.
ARTWORK DELIVERY GUIDELINES:
Entries for the Corangamite Youth Art Exhibition will be accepted on Monday 1 April, between 3 pm and 5 pm, and Thursday 4 April, between 3 pm and 5 pm. Artists are to drop off their artworks between these hours on specified days to the Courthouse Camperdown: 179 Manifold Street Camperdown.
After the exhibition has been open for the duration of Youth Week (5-14 April), artists must collect their artwork on Monday 15 April between 3 pm and 5 pm from the Courthouse Camperdown.
