The Corangamite Shire’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2020-2025 has been created in partnership with over 400 participants from across the municipality.
The Plan sets out actions Council will deliver to reduce barriers around access to services, facilities, information and support, and increase participation in the community for people living with a disability.
To support the implementation of the Plan, Council are seeking expressions of interest from representatives of local organisations and community members with lived experience to form an Access and Inclusion Reference Group.
The establishment of a Access and Inclusion Reference Group, as outlined in the Plan, will provide Council with advice on issues that impact access and inclusion within the municipality and the implementation of actions outlined in the Plan.
