Do you have active preschool aged children that need to burn some energy? Want them to learn new skills in a fun and safe environment? Then Corangamite’s Ed Gym program is for you and on again in Term 2!
Ed Gym is an active and structured gymnastics based program for pre-school aged children which promotes a range of learning opportunities in a friendly and safe environment.
Recreation Development Officer Lucy Vesey said the program provides an opportunity for children to be active, work off some energy and socialise with children the same age.
“The program is designed to develop coordination, independence and creativity in a fun environment,” Ms Vesey said.
Fees per class are $5.20 for 1 child, $9.50 for 2 children, and $13 for 3 children from the same family.
“As part of Corangamite Shire’s Eat Well! Move Well! Be Well! program, we are offering free come and try days for new participants on May 10 in Camperdown and May 11 in Terang,” Ms Vesey Said.
“I encourage parents to bring their active pre-schoolers along to give it a go.”
Classes are held at the Theatre Royal in Camperdown each Wednesday at 9.15 am and 10.30 am, and Terang Stadium each Thursday at 9.30 am.
